Spend more, think less?

This article states that we are increasing or expanding the debt ceiling. I found this very interesting because although spending and debt is not a new thing for America, it has been one of the most discussed topics, I've noticed, among adults today. Everybody wants to know where all of our money has gone, and where it goes, and this article brought me to even more questions than I had before. I do think that budget is something that needs to be addressed, instead of compensated for. We need to be using our money responsibly and prioritizing where we want our money to go, instead of just asking for more leniency in debt.
